About Sauniks
Philadelphia native, Sauniks, is a familiar face in the underground circuit of electronic dance music. His presence spans multiple genres of EDM, from Future Bass & Dubstep to Drum & Bass and other forms of cinematic Bass Music. He made his name known through the release of his remix of Courtney Jenae’s Accelerate and has since seen subtle notoriety with several singles including "Fragile" with Robbie Rosen, as well as remixes for artists such as My Position & Spiffy Man.
Born Matthew John Warnock in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, he began his journey into music at the age of 8 when he picked up a recorder. From there, Sauniks had expanded his musical horizons by learning the ins and outs of the guitar, piano, clarinet, drums, & even choir whilst in high school. His DJ career, however, started while attending college in Pittsburgh, building a reputation for the quality of his performances. Not long after, he began producing and released his first remix through Metronix Recordings. He would go on to not only self-release but also release through Glow Records, Simplify Recordings, Argofox, and Spiffy Recordings.
